We just discovered your station in my house and are thrilled with your playlist. There are precious few outlets for recordings like this. Your station is finding its way into our regular "classical" rotation, along with radioIO classical and the WNYC2 web stream.
We stream directly to our audio system using a Logitech Squeezebox, so we particularly appreciate the 128k bit rate.
Thanks for your efforts with this station.
Currently listening to Konrad Boehmer's "Aspekt". I never dreamed I'd be able to hear stuff like this broadcast anywhere. All hail the internet! |

Thanks so much! There's a thriving worldwide early music and new "nonpop" music scene that is pretty much ignored by the media - too bad. John Cage performed on the TV game show "I've Got a Secret" in 1960 - can you imagine that happening in 2009?
I use a Roku to stream to the living room stereo - I hardly listen to anything but internet radio any more. I tried 64k mp3PRO for a while, but it just didn't cut it. _________________ -------------------

|
|
I created an updating text file that records all tracks played on the station, starting with Aug 14, 2009.
There is a link to it on the web page just under the currently playing track list:
http://www.eiderway.com/BeforeandAfter.html
The direct link to the file is http://www.eiderway.com/wHistory.txt
The file on the server is always a little behind, since I have to ftp it from my computer periodically.
Twitter @B4AfterPlaylist used to serve this purpose, but Twitter no longer allows searching of automatically generated tweets. Plus they limit the time span in which you can search. _________________ -------------------
