HUMBOLDT101.COM ROLLS OUT NEW LIVE MORNING SHOW & NEW STUDIOS IN EUREKA

(Eureka)--Humboldt101.com, Humboldt County's only full-time internet radio station has new studios and a new live morning show. the station owner, has announced the premiere of "The Humboldt 101 Morning Show", airing from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., pacific time, Monday through Friday. The show's host is Don Andrews, a veteran Toronto, Canada broadcaster. Listeners to the station's stream via its web site, and can listen to the show through most mp3 players on computers or by using favorite application on their mobile device.

Andrews features Humboldt 101's blend of easy listening adult standards, coupled with interactive opportunities through email and his toll-free phone number for listeners worldwide from his studio, linked to the Humboldt 101 studios that are now located in Eureka. The station recently moved its location from Arcata to Eureka.

Humboldt 101 began internet radio broadcasting from Arcata in 2004, and expanded its base through inclusion on Apple's iTunes Radio in its Golden Oldies category in 2006. According to the owner, the station has listeners in virtually every country in the world who "tune in" every day for the trademark-blend of today's easy listening music and standards from the 1950s through the present. "Our adult standards music format with familiar radio personalities has gained the attention of listeners from Africa, Europe, Japan, and, it's the best-kept local radio secret, since Humboldt 101 is internet-only."

The station recently moved its operations from Arcata to Myrtletown in Eureka with larger and more developed studios that are equipped for live broadcasting with the latest technology. Humboldt 101 features local air personalities including KC, Pete Meyer, Misty Waters, Ross Laine, Russ Horton, Bonnie Halverson and C.J. The DJ. Nationally syndicated "DJ To The Stars" Jimmy Jay provides Humboldt 101 a weekend "1970s Rewind Countdown Show" Saturday and Sundays. It streams 24 hours a day in 128kbps stereo. It also features programming on weekends that features Big Band and Beautiful Music shows.
