lonewolf, with your huge music library, that could shape up to be quite the battle! At least now if I see any shrapnel flying I'll know which way to duck. _________________ Mike

Hiya Mike! Thanks for calling in your coordinates. We don't want any friendly casualties. I'll be sure to direct the battle away from your position so you can enjoy the firefight from a less threatening vantage point. Just let us know where the rounds hit. If the tracers come too close, will adjust fire. Over. _________________

Hiya Scorp! Thanks for checking in! Yeah, I've thought of pairing my Rush section back a bit, but damn, all those tracks are worthy! I'd broadcast an all Rush station if i could get away with it. They certainly have enough material!
Begining Monday, October 21, until further notice, Airwaves FM is suspending it's weekly program lineup and broadcasting our full library rotation of thousands of the greatest rock & roll songs ever recorded. We're pulling out all the stops & throwing out the entire arsenal of music in the Airwaves FM library.
for a special Halloween lineup. The Lone Wolf will be in rare form, broadcasting some of the spookiest rock & roll music from and many, many more! _________________

My thoughts are with those brave astronauts and their families during this sad time in mankinds history of achievement.
As tribute to the lost crew of Space Shuttle Columbia, Airwaves FM will be heavily rotating a song by Rush called "Countdown" from their 1982 album Signals. Music and lyrics were inspired by the maiden flight of Columbia in 1981 as the band members were there to witness the launch.
Other appropriate tunes will be rotated into the playlist more heavily as well.
Godspeed and good luck to the crew of Space Shuttle Columbia on their now eternal mission into space. _________________

WRTR is now Airwaves FM. Maintaining our standard of musical excellence, reborn under a new name. Classic Rock wild to mild. Masters of their craft, they make it look easy, just like showin' off. Absolute 6 string overdose. 4 string hematoma. Percussion concussion. Synthesizer synopsis and vocal veterans.Guaranteed to introduce cap sag in any power amp you use .
Nothing official yet from his website, but the early buzz is that Sammy Hagar will be teaming up with guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani as he joins the Waboritas on their 2003 summer tour. If so, The Red Rocker continues the pattern of playing alongside some of the most monstrously talented six string slingers ever to plug in a guitar. To date, most notably among those was Eddie Van Halen, during Sammy's 10 year stint as frontman with that band.
Can anybody confirm this? Anybody come across a news story, please post a link here, or over in the Green Room.
If he can swing it, for me this will definately be a show to see this summer. WOW! _________________

lonewolf, congrats on a great station name change. I'll snoop around a bit and see if I can come up with any info on the Hagar / Satriani pairing. _________________ Mike
